Info on the Black sedans following EQ Peg Hoaxer

Hello,

I am sending this along to inform you of a possible SETI Hit. First let me state, I am *NOT* a member of the SETI League for reason's I would rather not go into. I have however been conducting Amateur SETI for little over a year and a half. I am an engineer at a major telecomunications firm in England and I have for the last year conducted SETI from one of the large (10 Meter) dishes we have here that was taken offline some year sago. This is a "parasitic" experiment and no one around here knows I mounted a 2nd feedhorn on the dish due to the fact that I am the engineer.

And, on page http://members.aol.com/ufoseek/CapeCanaveralHall7193/blacksedan.html we see "photo's [sic] of mysterious black sedans near Contact1450's home and work."

First of all, it has been pointed out by Dr. Seth Shostak (http://www.seti.org/eqpeg.html) that the photos of the cars are on the wrong side of the road for England! Also, when I spoke the real Paul Dore yesterday, he pointed out that the automobile (which appears twice where the other car is supposed to be on the website) isn't ever seen in England (it is a 1997 Lincoln Town Car).

Both images have been edited to black out license plates (which are only the width of US style plates). These pictures resemble several I have seen on the internet in classified "for sale" ads. If the mysterious engineer first says he works at a major telecomunications firm in England, and later, this is proven to be NOT true, then why is anyone continuing to believe this nonsense? Armed with this evidence, one can clearly see it is obviously a hoax, and yet some still believe a cover-up of some sort!

Finally, the supposed engineer says, "First let me state, I am *NOT* a member of the SETI League for reason's I would rather not go into." What is the hoaxer's grievance with the SETI League? It seems as though others who wish to believe there was a signal are out to discredit the SETI League as well.

There is really no reason at this point why this whole affair shouldn't be put to rest, but it continues as those who wish to believe continue to keep it alive....
