Dear Art,

I have heard all the specualtion with respect to the "signal from EQ pegasi" story.

I have some questions for you :

Given that I was named as the engineer and still am on your web site ( which I find particularly offensive ) why did you not bother to try to contact me. ( Most others did )

Neither you nor Richard Hogland ( your guest spouting off about "my" discovery ) bothered to check the validity of the story with myself ( It was not hard to find me ). Surely Richard Hogland's "men in London" would have found it easy to track me down.

I am particularly offended that someone has used my identity and claimed that I found this signal.

I have stated in numerous places that I am not the person, so why does the story of the "cover up" still perpetuate ?

Personally, I have my suspicions that the hoax is a bit close to home. What do you think ??
